Feline Gods It all started long ago when I saved a feral cat from starvation so I named him Uranus and my dog Astro was the first to be tested. Uranus was outside meowing from being starved and so i got some dog food and water and placed it outside for him and he gobbled it all up then retreated under the porch..He did this for 3 days then he decided he wanted to come inside and met Astro so he jumped up and attacked my dogs face and showed him who was boss so that night i could hear them downstairs going at it. After that they came to an agreement and Uranus would lay on my long pillow and often reach out and put his paw on my face. Catnip was a favorite treat and he would go bananas eating it and rolling all over it. Astro wanted some so i gave him a pinch then he looked at me like what the Hell!! He didn't get it so i treated him to massage and play times then on walks Uranus would follow and walk with us. People noted that it was awesome seeing this big backwoods guy with a 12 gauge shotgun walking down the road with my dog and cat. Uranus live a full life and had this thing where he would go into the unfinished storage room and crawl through the eaves and climb down the corner of the house and when he wanted back in he would use the same route he had before. That cat hunted squirrels and Astro would tree them then the cat would go up the tree after them..it was quite a site. Uranus got his vet visits and got fixed and all his shots and the both of them were best buddies. It didn't take long before they would curl up together. Uranus after 6 years didn't come back inside and i didn't think too much til the second day and went looking for him but to no avail. A week passed and i went out to the shed and took some insulation from the top of the stack and there he was. My first cat had passed away in his sleep and I was very sad so i showed Astro and he let out a howl. Astro the same year met the Canine Gods as he was an avid car chaser....Both those critters filled my life with Love and Joy and it was an honor to be their slave as they were my masters. Anyone who has such a family knows the loss and the memories that hold their hearts together. Peace, BigT
